I like this Kojic bar! When I first got it in the mail, I didn’t even have the box open and I could smell the fragrance from the bar, so it is very strong. Some people may not mind, but others who are sensitive to smell should take note. The ridges on the bar makes it easier to grip onto the sides to hold when using it, especially in the shower. I make sure to take it out of the shower for it to dry so it stays in tact as long as possible.
I gradually saw a few areas of my skin subtly brighten after multiple uses over 2 weeks, but I did notice that my skin felt a bit more sensitive being out in the sun, so I have to make sure I’m applying sunscreen everyday, at least a couple times a day. I noticed one of my darker sunspots on the side of my face has gotten lighter, and that it seems to be doing good at slowly tackling any minor scars or reducing redness from acne. On my arms, it has helped blur the “farmer’s tan lines” on my biceps, but my forearms only look slightly lighter overall.
The only thing that I haven’t noticed a difference are the little freckles across my nose and cheeks. If anything, they seem a little more noticeable. But since there are many, I’m sure it will be much longer for me to notice any changes. Overall, it is a subtle transformation for me, helping to even out and brighten my skin tone. I have only been using this on my face for a week (and only every other day) and I can already see some of my dark spots lighting up! And my over all skin tone evening out. The picture on the left was taken on December 1 and the one on the right was taken December 8th. I’m excited to see what next week will bring.

I rarely leave product reviews but this one had to be highlighted. I have dry skin. I took Accutane a few years ago and since then my acne has gotten better but my skin is dehydrated. I have struggled to find a face wash that cleans my skin without stripping it or breaking me out. I was getting some small surface-level breakouts.
This soap is amazing. I have tried so many face washes in the past and nothing compares to this. I don't know how this soap is not crazy popular yet but I'm so glad I leaped to try it because as of now I am never using another face wash again. My skin is clean and so soft, but not tight or stripped of moisture, and its helped to brighten my dark spots and overall complexion. It has also helped with those small surface-level breakouts.
Thank you kitsch for making this soap, I am obsessed!
If you have any reservations about buying this soap, don't. My skin is complicated and sensitive and it's loving this soap.

Unfortunately I couldn't use it on my face because of my seborrheic dermatitis, however it did a great magic on my arms! I have Keratosis pilaris, which caused me a lot of scars, and after just 2 weeks of using the Kojic acid bar it looks a lot better! The redness disappeared, the spots and scars are barely visible!
My skin feels softer and hydrated even without moisturizer.
The bar has a very pleasant citrusy scent, and it lathers perfectly.
This bar is an absolute keeper for me, thank you Kitsch for the opportunity!

A few weeks ago, I woke up to a rash all over my face and arms, a clear indication of my inflammation. On the left, you'll see the rash on day two. I was a bit skeptical about this soap since my skin is a combination and it might dry my face too easily, but that's not the case. It leaves my skin very soft and I can even use it to take my makeup off! My rosacea has improved since I started using it and my skin looks brighter. I'm very happy with it.

If you have to buy one item from kitsch for your skin/ body let this be it!
I have very sensitive skin from my face to my body so I want to start by saying this bar did not make my skin dry at all while using it, which has been a problem for me with any other clarrifying soap I have used.
I used to have little pipmly bumbps on my arms (in the tricep area)- it got rid of those. The kind of purlpy shade my underarms used to have? Gone! Spots from shaving I used to have on my legs? Not anymore! Use it with an exfoliating body brush with bristles and you will have new skin!
In my face I have oily-sensitive skin and a good cleanser was imposible for me to find BUT this bar did the trick! My skin also used to be irritaded and had red spots all over but this bar after only one week of use relieved it- say goodbye to dull skin!
As for the smell, personaly I ADORE it! It is very citrucy and fresh, plus it fills up the whole room and it's like you are using a very nice, clean air freshener! I must say that despite me loving it, it can be overpowering for some people so take that into consideration.
Finally, the size is HUGE and I could not be happier with that! It gats foamy very easy so no need to rub it a lot (you would be wasting product). I have been using it for 2 months now everyday for my face and 2 times/week for my body and I have quite a lot of it left (definately for another month)!

I’ve been have been washing my face with the soap every morning and night, after taking my make up off, for a moth now. I think you can see my marks starting to fade. I’ll keep going as the soap makes my face feel really clean and soft and it smells absolutely amazing.

the photo i've linked is chafing i've experienced in my thighs from the summer heat over the years due to my huge legs rubbing together. i've had this soap for like 3 weeks and it's already completely cleared up my dark spots. i was really sceptical about this but im not kidding when i say this is a definite need.
